Its a new hobby of mine to look around the news and web and find postcard related projects, stories or art. That's how I stumbled on "The Wander Postcard Project" where illustrators to imagine a postcard from everywhere and nowhere at once. Their art is being shared every day on this blog. Go on over and check them out. Its a fun parallel to our little project. (You can download for wallpaper if you find one you like, I might add this to my new phone!)

What is this?

We are best buds who have been relying on the postal system to keep us connected for years. In October 2008, we decided to take this to another level and an artistic challenge was made: Create and send two cards a month. There were no other rules and no other expectations. The goal was simple - to stay in touch and to stay connected to our creative selves (despite unartistic professions). Years later, we are still at it and have the unambitious goal of continuing until we are old women. In this blog, we will post last year's cards and provide a glimpse into our friendship, lives and creative process. Welcome!
